2. Current Providers
The table below reflects providers currently in use or anticipated. We may change providers over time to improve cost, performance, compliance, or reliability. We will update this notice when we do.
| Provider | Category | What they process |
|---|---|---|
| Vercel | Hosting & deployment | Application code execution; all inbound traffic passes through Vercel infrastructure |
| Neon (Neon Database) | Database | All persistent application data including lead records, conversations, user accounts, and settings |
| Anthropic (Claude) | AI model | Content of inbound SMS messages and widget chat conversations; lead and org context used to generate automated replies |
| Plivo | SMS / telephony | Inbound and outbound SMS message routing and delivery |
| Twilio | SMS / telephony (fallback) | Inbound and outbound SMS message routing and delivery |
| Vonage | SMS / telephony (optional) | Inbound and outbound SMS message routing and delivery |
| Google (Calendar API) | Calendar & scheduling | Appointment availability and booking data when Google Calendar integration is enabled by a Customer |
| Nodemailer / SMTP provider | Email delivery | Transactional email such as magic-link sign-in messages |
| Expo Push Notification Service | Mobile push notifications | Routes push notifications from our server to Apple APNs (iOS) and Google Firebase Cloud Messaging/FCM (Android). Expo receives only the device push token and the notification payload (title, body, and a type identifier). Payloads do not include sensitive lead or customer data. |
| Apple Push Notification service (APNs) | Mobile push notifications (iOS) | Delivers push notifications to iOS devices via Apple's infrastructure. Expo's service acts as the intermediary; we do not communicate with APNs directly. Apple processes device push tokens in accordance with Apple's privacy policy. |
| Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) | Mobile push notifications (Android) | Delivers push notifications to Android devices. Used indirectly via Expo's push service. Google processes device registration tokens in accordance with Google's privacy policy. |
3. AI Disclosure
Some NightCurrent features may use AI models to:
- classify inbound messages or leads;
- draft suggested responses;
- summarize conversations;
- generate suggested follow-up actions for leads, including priority, recommended next step, draft message, and ghost-probability score;
- assist with workflow routing; and
- generate reports or recommendations.
For the Suggested Follow-Ups feature: when this feature is used, lead context — including names, contact status, recent conversation message summaries (up to 5 messages, truncated to 200 characters each), appointment status, and business notes — is transmitted to Anthropic (Claude) to generate follow-up recommendations. No full conversation transcripts or raw phone numbers are sent in the AI payload.
AI-generated outputs should be reviewed before being relied on, especially for important communications or regulated contexts. We do not represent that AI output is error-free.
4. Customer Controls
Customers may have the ability to configure certain prompts, workflows, or integration settings through the admin interface. Customers remain responsible for their instructions, prompts, contact lists, message content, and use-case compliance.
